Supporting The Lullaby Trust

Little Scribbles has been touched by the strength and love of fellow blogger Jennie over at Edspire, who sadly lost her beautiful daughter, Matilda Mae, when she went to sleep and did not wake up in February this year. I have been following Jennie's story through her blog and her friend, Ghostwriter Mummy's blog so Matilda and her family are often in my thoughts. Matilda Mae was one in 600 babies who die from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in the UK each year. And why? We may never know. We may never be able to make sense of such a horrific and tragic death. But what Jennie and all of her blogger friends and beyond want to do is to help the Lullaby Trust in their bid to make the future a lot brighter for many more babies.

The Lullaby Trust funds research into SIDS so that families like Matilda’s can be supported and given answers they so desperately need. The Lullaby Trust also guides and supports families in making the first steps towards growing their family once more, with their Care of Next Infant program. They also provide a bereavement support service and help to educate parents on the importance of safe sleeping. You can find out more about the lullaby trust on their website and can read about all the fabulous fund raising over on Ghostwriter Mummy's blog. Like me, you probably want to get involved and support all involved by giving a little for this very big cause. One great way that you can get involved is by taking a look at the fantastic Auction for Matilda over at Tots100. Lot's of great companies have donated fantastic items for you to bid on, including The Gro Company and Kyna Boutique. I have donated some of our lovely Barefoot Books, including ' Star Seeker ' and ' Up Up Up '.  I will also be donating 30% of all book sales throughout May, that are bought by those who would like to support Jennie and the Lullaby Trust. Simply use the link below, so that we can keep track of sales for Matilda, and you can enjoy a book with your little one whilst helping this great cause.
