This month I have chosen a book that is a perfect summer read for young bookworms, to keep them entertained during the holidays. ' Grim, Grunt and Grizzle-Tail ' is a new addition to the Barefoot 'Monster Stories' series. Set in Chile, this fun story is retold by Fran Parnell and illustrated by Sophie Fatus and is ideal for children ages 6 and up.
One day, a frustrated king flies into a rage and turns his mischievous daughters into oranges. The gruesome monsters Grim and Grunt decide they'd like to get their hands on the princesses, and bully their little brother, Grizzle-Tail, into stealing the girls. Who will rescue the princesses from the monsters' clutches?
